This webinar is part of our 2024 National Inclusion Week programme.

Intersectionality is a much-used term in the world of Inclusion & Diversity, but do you know what it truly means? Intersectionality explores the interconnected nature of social categorisations—such as race, class, and gender—and how these overlapping identities contribute to shaping opportunities and challenges someone has in life. We know that individuals are complex and have multiple parts to their identities, but how does this impact everyday interactions, inclusion efforts and, more importantly, what does it have to do with you?

We will explore this and more in this highly interactive and informative session, including contributions from industry thought leaders who will each share their unique insights, which will give you new tools to approach this conversation in a more nuanced and complex way within the workplace.

This webinar is hosted by Matheus Carvalho and Michelle Daltry, I&D expert from Inclusive Employers.

Matheus Carvalho is Director of Global Services at Inclusive Employers, working closely with clients to provide them with training solutions and inclusion strategies to support their organisations. Matheus leads on Inclusive Leadership training, and on Global Inclusion strategies and training. Find out more about Matheus.

Michelle Daltry is the Head of Sport for Inclusive Employers. Michelle was the Partnership Manager for Disability Sport Wales, a post that she held for over 19 years, before joining the team. As an Inclusion and Diversity specialist within the field of sport and physical activity, Michelle is passionate about supporting the sector to address inequalities within the workplace and out in the field of play.
